connected drawing projection

During the drawing marathon on 8 and 9 February 2018 a digital layer about the event was created from Maxlab. The Growing Gifs research project was broad and clear.

On the facade of the Academy there was a mapping projection where the façade served as a large canvas for the artists and they could draw directly projected graffiti on the façade.

In the various drawing rooms, arrangements were made for collaboration with Wacom where the growing gifs software could be used and experimented with drawing on wacom, direct animation and collaborative drawing.

coordination and concept: Janna Beck, Wouter Steel, Kris Meeussen (Lab101)

This was genuinely helpful, and the takeaways are easy to put into practice right away. That section on common pitfalls alone is worth the time it took to read the whole thing. Enjoyed this read from top to bottom; the pacing and the detail felt just right. The way you sequenced the steps makes it far less intimidating to actually get started. If anyone wants to dig a little deeper, I put together some related notes over at silk-suite.org.
